They worked hard as teams, depended on each other, got to know other students better, built new friendships, tried new things, enjoyed nature, laughed together, and grew together. We would like to invite you to join the tens of thousands of students in our area and millions world-wide on Wednesday, Sept. Regent’s curriculum exposes students to texts of the western intellectual tradition, joining the study of ancient and modern classics with study of math, science, music, and art. See You at the Pole is simply a prayer rally, where students meet at the school flagpole. Regent is a classical Christian school for students age Pre-K through 12th grade. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September, Sept. See You at the Pole is an annual gathering of thousands of Christian students at school flag poles, churches, and the Internet for the purposes of worship. Dow needs students to volunteer to lead prayers. They were challenged to get outside their comfort zones, and were presented with spiritual and Biblical advice encouraging them to put their lives in God's hands. A key passage of focus wasįinally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. The students were stretched in many ways - through fun, fun, and more fun! The great outdoors provided a variety of ways to experience God's glory together - hiking, canoeing, bouldering, making s'mores by the campfire! They were asked to approach the weekend with openness - to "Dare to Prepare Your Heart"! See You at the Pole is an event where students and staff from schools nationwide gather to pray. This past weekend the Freshman spent 2 days together at DPB House in Croatia. 22, 2021 at 4:48 PM EDT Weekday broadcast of WYMT Mountain News First at Four. Each year the Freshmen of ICSB start their journey in the Upper School at a retreat designed to build a bond to carry them through the years ahead.
